Onager, Persian - IUCN Conservation Status
IUCN Red List of Threatened Species information on the Persian Onager. As of 2015, they are classified as Endangered due to loss of habitat as a result of human settlement, cultivation, overgrazing, developmental activities, conflict with humans. The population trend is starting to become stable but they are still severely fragmented.
