1900 to 1909
1901: A pair of lions was presented to the Zoo.1902: Forty-nine animals were donated to the Zoo.
1903: A grizzly bear captured in Yellowstone National Park was presented to the Zoo.
1907: The seven-year move to the west side of Cleveland began. Construction started of the main building at the new location.
1908: The new main building opened.
1909: Zoo superintendent William Hadderath moved his headquarters to Brookside Park, although the zoo was still divided between the two locations.
