Zoo Library Resources

Welcome to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Library and Archives! A research library open to the public by appointment, we house materials focused on Science, Animals and Wildlife, Conservation, Climate Change, and Behavioral Psychology. The Library is open to Zoo staff and volunteers; researchers must register in advance with the Zoo Librarian.
This page provides links to Zoo Library electronic resources, as well as contact information and the Library catalog. Browse the library catalog to see what books, DVDs, magazines, journals, and CDs are in the collection. The Zoo Library also houses the Zoo Archives, comprising of photos, documents, marketing materials, newsletters, from 1890–Present. (Finding aids currently in progress.)

The Zoo Library Catalog and the Online Resource Library (ORL) are freely available anywhere with internet service. Search the Zoo Library Catalog to see our collections and get access to online journals. If prompted, type in the Library name "CMZ Library" to get access. No password required. Some online resources may only be accessed on Zoo premises.
